If only cars were like this, the world would be a better and happier place to live. Porsche, one of the famous car companies, build great cars with lots of effort. I lay down these statement because I want to justify my belief that Porsche Nine Eleven (911) are great cars. It has distinctive design, rear engine and swing axle rear suspension, they are designed for people who love to drive. They are among the most successful competitive cars ever, simply because they came fifth in the 1999 international poll for the award of the “Car of the Century”. It is also the Number 2 on Automobile Magazine’s list of the “100 Coolest Cars”. First they were air-cooled but now they are water-cooled. The model trim is one of the oldest sports car nameplates but still prolific. One of their oldest models is the Porsche 911 classic with powerful, larger, and much comfortable cars ever made at that time, from 1963-1989. Porsche 911 Carrera is an idol model of 911, the updated and modified versions are the 911 Carrera 4 911 Carrera S and the 911 Carrera 4S. The 911 Carrera is powered by a new 3.6-liter flat-six engine, reaches up to 345 horsepower with track top speed of 180 mph, and performs 40 mph at 4.7 seconds. The exterior contain LED taillights, LED daytime running lights, and smaller fog lights. It has seven-speed PDK automated manual gearbox which gives high speed shifts and superior fuel economy.
The interior gives standard comfort and convenience, including automatic climate control, a three-spoke leather steering wheel, rain-sensor wipers, HomeLink system and nine-speaker CD audio system. In addition, the Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe S and 911 Carrera Coupe 4S, both have 385 horsepower. 911 Carrera Coupe 4S comprises a top track speed of 185 mph in 60 mph at 4.5 seconds. It has intelligent all-wheel drive and more exterior refinements. On the other hand, the convertible versions of 911 Carrera are the 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet, 911 Carrera Cabriolet and the 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet. The “S” referring in 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet is that it packs a 3.8-liter 385-horsepower flat-six engine under its deck lid. It has predominantly rear-wheel drive and has optional seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automated manual.
Porsche 911 Targa version is the “stop gap” model, from the Italian word Targa means shield. The name “Targa” is came from Targa Florio sports car road race, which gives a great success in Porsche from 1956 until 1973. One of their creations are the 911 Targa 4 and 911 Targa 4S. 911 Targa 4 is basically a Carrera 4 Coupe with the main attraction of the very unique all-glass roof. It has Porsche Communication Management 3.0 which marks a touchscreen for easier operation of the audio system as well as the optional-disk-drive navigation system. The 911 Targa 4S is more higher-performing version than 911 Targa 4, it is bigger with 3.8-liter six-cylinder engines, giving 385 horsepower that accelerate up to 60 mph at 4.6 seconds.
The turbo versions of Porsche 911 are faster and had new designs; these are the 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo Cabriolet. The 911 Turbo Cabriolet features titanium-colored slats, new LED turn indicators and daytime running lights. It is powered by 3.6-liter flat six-cylinder engine that reaches up to 480 horsepower, and the Sport Chrono Package further raises the torque to 505 pound-feet at the touch of a button. It contains interesting interior amenities, including automatic climate control, an on-board computer, HomeLink system and 12-speaker Bose surround-sound audio system.
Porsche 911 built the most sporting cars; these are the 911GT2, 911 GT3 and the latest 911 GT3 RS. The 911 GT3 RS is the 
most muscular car with 3.8-liter flat-six and comprise 450 horsepower. The GT3 configured as so called “split” crankcase, which means parting line of crankcase is on the crankshaft centerline. Also the RS stands for the German word Rennsport. The improved PASM suspension makes the GT3 RS’ handling better than previous, with wider tracks both front and rear and dynamic engine mounts to develop the connection between the engine and the car’s body. It’s a lower ride height, with large carbon rear wing and titanium exhaust system. This car is stronger among the Nine Elevens.
All in all, Porsche 911 cars are the most powerful and probably the fastest road-going and sports Porsche ever made. They have blazing speed, brilliant design, neutral handling, good looking and startling performance. Some call them as iconic, and they were right.
